I am seeking information on my uncle, William J. Akers. He was also know as Bill. He was born in Hanover or Colorado Springs, (ElPaso County) Colorado about 1911 to Conway and Nina Akers. He was at one time married to Katy Davey but they separated at some point in time. He was a WW II veteran. His middle name may have been Joy. He lived at one time in Florida in Coryville in 1973. He may have lived in Plant City, Hillsborough, Florida. He farmed at Edison Colorado just before WW II when he was living with Katy Davey. Katy had several children by a previous marriage. William's siblings were Gladys, Viola, Pearl, Nora, George, Claude, Clara and Mary. His grandfather, William Harrison Akers was a civil War Veteran. I am sure he is deceased.
