I am looking for either a death certificate or newspaper obit for one Louis Willard,b. 3 Nov. 1894 in Jamestown,NY. His parents Herbert H.Willard and Julia H.Cassidy married in New Milford,Ct in 1890. A short time later they moved to Jamestown,NY, where they had two children, Harry in 1892 and Louis in 1894. They family moved back to Ct. Where they had a daughter Madeline.
Louis has become my mystery man, he married a Marilla Lucas and had at least one child a son, Louis jr. b. 1916. Since 1920 there has been no trace of Louis or his family. Although, according to the SSDI, index a man by the name of Louis Willard, same birthdate, died in Marathon,Fla. A relative of Louis's sister Madeline, stated that Madeline at a very old age said her brother Louis died in Marathon,Ga. However there is no Marthon,Ga. So I am going with Marthon,Fla, When I wrote to Marthon,Fla they had no record of his death. I suspect Louis died somewhere in that area. He died in June 1975. Can anyone help????
