Final Days for Okaloosa Heritage Book

A final plea has gone out for family and topical stories for the Okaloosa County Heritage Book. Although past the deadline of May 31st, there will be a couple of weeks grace period while the committee sorts and organizes. During this time we will still accept stories of you or your ancestors from Okaloosa County OR memories of your time spent visiting them. (And tell a friend! While the topical stories have more "color," it’s the family stories our descendants will most appreciate.)

All stories and pictures received before the consultant picks up the material stand a good chance of getting in the book. But act quickly. Mail typed, double-spaced stories to OKALOOSA HERITAGE BOOK, P. O. Box 792, Crestview, FL 32536. Hope your stories will be in the bunch!
