The consultant has picked up the family stories for the Walton County Heritage Book, a total of 367. We were granted permission for an addundum, so we can slip a few more in in IF they are submitted ASAP. Send to the Walton Heritage Book, PO Box 1156, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435
Since Okaloosa was a part of Walton, many of you may have topical stories of early county happenings and memories and photographs of county sights then or now. You are welcome to send them no later than 25 September 2004, please.
Considering the proofing steps, the book may not be ready for Christmas. More like a spring 2005 print date.
