I am sure that some of the old timers around the area still might refer to it as the Deerland Community, but it is not marked in anyway that I know of. I travel through that area several times a year, but have never seen it indicated as such. My grandparents lived in Deerland precinct when they were first married. It is just a "spot" on Hwy 90 East between the two cities.

I have checked several databases but can't get any hits on Robert and Lovely. It is possible they were missed on the 1930 census (several of my relatives were missed on the 1870 census) or the enumerator spelled their names in some off hand way. I know that it is the case with several families I have worked on. Good luck, and it I find any new info I will post for you.
