I have learned more info to the above query. I need to correct and update.
My grandfather was Joseph Perry Knighton, Jr
Born April 17, 1895 in Randolph Co. Shellman, Georgia, Married Susie Ola Farrow born Dec.7, 1900 in Morgan Calhoun Ga.
My g.grandfather was Joseph Perry Knighton,
Sr. Married Laura Shepard Pace ( who was suppose to be full blooded Creek Indian) My great grandfather changed his middle name to Powell, which was suppose to be some relation to the William Powell family. I don't have anymore information yet, is there any out there? Does anyone have any more information to share.
