on 4-11-1944 clarence l best was murdered by louis dyess. clarence's mother was jessie mae best dyess. clarence worked for the railroad. louis shot him in the back. he was sent to prison and died there. can not find anyting onthis. do not know what prison, where he is buried, born etc. do know that he and jessie were married in washington co on 8-8-1940. was the main newspaper one of the larger out of town ones?
