Around 1900 there was an Isaac Whiddon who married Sallie Davis. There is an article about Isaac killing a fellow business man who had been stalking Isaac's wife. Sallie died in 1914 during the 4th attempt at trail and Isaac disappered as did their adopted son Barton or Boston Whiddon. Sallie was raised by Hugh C. Davis, who I think was her Uncle and his wife Prudence. Sallie was the daughter of John Davis and she had an older sister Eveline Davis Peel(married Ransom Mack Peel) Can anyone give more about these Davis girls and maybe exactly how Hugh was related (maybe grandfather instead of Uncle?) Also although her children are buried in Oakwood Cem. there is no tombstone there for her.
