The only Flahavans I know of are the Porridge people in Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford. My own family come from the Fenor area of Co. Waterford. Individuals have carried the name Flahavan in the past. I use the name O Flaithimhin for Flavin and O Flaitheamhain for Flahavan if I remember correctly from FR. Wollf's Sloinnte Gael S Gall (Sir Names Irish and Foreign) used in many primary schools in the 1950's and later if not before.
