Johanna Flahavan & Charles Dowd, Limerick City, Ireland - 1819 to 1827

I am looking for information on Charles Dowd and his wife Johanna Flahavan. They were living in St. Michael's Parish in Limerick City from at least 1819 when their first child was born. I have been unable to find baptism records for either one of them or a marriage record, even though St. Michael's records are fairly complete and go back into the 18th century. There were a James and John Flahavan who were living close to Charles and Johanna in St Michael's Parish so I think that Johanna must have been related to them. Charles and Johanna had four children: John (born 1819), Ellen (1823), Charles (1825), and Robert (1827). The younger Charles was my great grandfather. He emigrated first to Quebec in the late 1840's where he spent several years and then relocated to St Louis where he married Mary Kinsella in 1853. I would also appreciate information on John, Ellen and Robert.
