I just found out my Great Great grandmother's Ellen's maiden name was Flahive....My grandmothers travel journal stated she was from Dingle, Co. kerry, Ireland ...She was born Jan 1863 and married Patrick Sullivan abt 1884---came to US in 1880 per 1900 Census for Syracuse, NY....We are trying to figiure out a connection to John Crean b feb 1863 Dingle area, co Kerry came to US 1885 and married an u/k Lizzie b aug 1864 Ireland.(she came to US 1886) Either Lizzie was Ellen's sister or was Patrick Sullivan;s sister---That's the only possible way families connect as picture is labeled "Uncle John Crean" in my g-g-grandmother's writing... He's about 85 in the picture(circa 1950)...My mother was told we're related to Thomas Crean, the explorer but who knows...Could be his brother???....I'm just looking for any info that connects these people to me or their ancestors. thanks
