finding long lost family

My name Penny Flahive-Schuett and I live in Southeastern Wisconsin. My parents were married in Iowa where the first 2 children were born, then moved to Southeastern Wisconsin. My parents had 5 children before divorcing in early 1960's. I've never been able to get any info on the Flahive side of the family at all.
Knowing that Flahive is an Irish name, I've gone the past several years to Milwaukee's IrishFest to do some research, but have been unable to find anything out. I wasn't able to get any info from my parents before they passed away several years ago.
My father is James Francis Flahive, my mother Veronica Agnes LaMar. I think they were married in Albia IA., but I know that my mother's family lived on a farm outside the city and my father's family lived in town.
Any info would be greatly apprieciated
