I have Samuel Flake as being born abut 1718, died May 5, 1802 in Anson County, North Carolina. Some information gives his birth as about 1699, Isle of Wight. Sarah was referred to as Sally (or Sallie) several times in family history documentation. According to my records, Samuel and Agatha had two (or more) chidren, the first born about 1748. He and Sarah also had children, the last for which I have records was born after 1777 (this would place Samuel's age at more than 77 at the time of this birth if he was born in 1699). One lead I have come across suggests Samuel's father was Samuel, born in England (Isle of Wight connection?). I'd like help in resolving this.
