My daughter is researching the Flake family.
Most of the Flakes came from North Carolina, and moved west to Snowflake, Arizona, on her husbands side of the family. I noticed that your maiden name was McFall. My Great-Great-Great-Grandfather was Daniel McFalls, from North Carolina, then his son, Allen Hampton McFalls, was my great -great grandfather, then his son, Wade Hampton McFall was my Great Grandfather, and his son, Clyde Christopher McFaul, was my grandfather. The spelling went from McFalls, to McFall, to McFaul. Are any of these McFalls familiar to you? I just thought it a coincidence that we have Flakes, and McFalls in our family also.
