I found out that Wallis Mitchell "Buster" Flake's father was James Henry "Jim Henry" Flake and mother was Ira Wallis. I have a few photos of each.
My GF "Buster" had 4 sisters (Mabel, Floy, Lou and Nell) and 5 brothers (Anthony, Wayne, Howard "H.O.", Earl, and Ernest) and one sibling that died as a baby (name and sex unknown). GGF "Jim Henry" had at least two brothers, Monroe and Charlie. GGF's folks came from Alabama (year unknown) to Coal Hill, Arkansas. GGF later relocated to Vilonia, Arkansas, and later yet to North Little Rock, Arkansas where he died. My father was the late Wallis Edward "Wally" Flake. All are buried in North Little Rock or the surrounding area.
Does any one have any information on the Flake family out of Alabama prior to late 1800's? I would appreciate any information. Thanks.
Dave
