I finally made it to Louisiana to a McFall reunion. I also have more, but, not much more info on our McFall linage. Joseph Dean McFall was my grandfather married Ella Frances Pinkerton dau of David Alsobrook Pinkerton. Joseph Dean McFall,SR was buried in a cemetery outside Olla, LA. I don't have his b-day handy right now. But, if you have any connection with this family I would love to know. Joseph Dean McFall had a brother named William Lee McFall said to have a red beard and hot tempered. There is a story.
There were three brothers one died young after a quarrel broke out with some other young people and Alex died as a result. William Lee McFall is said to be buried in Mexia, TX. Got in a scrape with the law in East Texas. Also, his wife was Georgia Pinkerton my grandmothers sister. We think the girls were born in AL. But, they moved to Arkansas with the McFall brothers and had children there. One son Sam Daniel is still living in California at age 91. If this story rings any bells, please let me know.
