I have quite a bit of information:

Jordan (spelled "Jurden" in his will, b. May 15, 1764 in Lilesville, Anson, North Carolina, d. Aug 27, 1843 in Lilesville) and Faithy Elizabeth Hanna (b. Oct 27, 1783 in Iredell, Rowan, North Carolina, d. Sep 22, 1841 in Smith Creek, Anson, North Carolina) had the following chidren: James Madison (b. Jun 22, 1815), Jane Elvira (b. Mar 13, 1817), Alcey (b. Jan 25, 1819), Sarah (b. Apr 19, 1820), Faithy Hanna (b. Feb 27, 1822), Francis Edward (b. Jan 6, 1828).

Jordan was also married previously to Mary Penelope Williams and they had the following children: John Wesley, Samuel (b. Aug 19, 1805), Nancy Ann, William Cameron, Thomas G.

Jordan was the son of Samuel Flake and Sarah Abigail Harris. Faithy Elizabeth was the daughter of John Harris and Faitha (Faithy?) Madison.

I'm trying to tie connections of Samuel. I have him as being born about 1718, died May 5, 1802. Some records indicate he was born as early as 1699, but there are several inconsistencies in the information I have. I believe there may have meen a Samuel Sr, explaining the different dates, and am looking for proof or explanation.

Sarah Abigail Harris and Samuel (Jr?) had 9 children and Samuel had at least 2 children with a first wife named Agatha.

I am also sorting through information I have on John Harris and Faitha Madison. I can share more via e-mail ( as space is limited on this message board.

Hope this helps.
