Thanks for the info.

That is neat that you own the site where he moved about 150 years ago.

Of the flakes that came to Utah, the family homes are mostly near Snowflake Arizona. Lots and Lots of flakes live there and there is an annual reunion there for all of the flakes.

My grandfather homesteaded out of town about 30 miles. Most of that property is still in family hands and used primarily for summer residences. There is also an annual reunion for his (Joel White Flake) descendants. This is held a couple of days from the larger one (William Jordan Flake).
