Hi Carolyn,

What is the birth date of the Delilah you are looking for? There is a Delilah who is a daughter of Samuel Flake (born 1740--Samuel's birth date is unconfirmed, there are some reports with it being perhaps even 1701 or 1720) and Sarah Abigail Harris (born 1742)--their family looks like this:

John Flake (born 1762)
Jordan Flake (born 1764)
Samuel Flake (born 1766)
Jemima Flake (born 1767)
William Flake (born 1768)
Thomas Flake (born 1769)
Elizabeth Flake (born 1770)
Delilah Flake (born 1772)
Sarah Flake (born 1774)
Elijah Flake (born 1778)

I am a descendant of Jordan Flake (born 1764) who had a son James Madison Flake (born 1815) who moved to Kemper County Mississippi who joined The Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints, also known as the "Mormon" church, who then moved to Salt Lake City. James had a son William Jordan Flake (who settled Snowflake, Arizona in 1878--from his name was the "Flake" part of the town's name derived, Erastus Snow's last name was the other half of the town's name). William had a son James Madison Flake (born 1859). So before 1859 there were two James Madison Flakes--what time frame were looking at?
