Hi Tracey,

I am a descendant of Samuel Flake (born somewhere between 1701 and 1720 who lived in Anson County North Carolina) who had a son Jordan Flake (born 1764) who had a son James Madison Flake (born 1815) who moved to Kemper County Mississippi and then moved to Salt Lake City. James had a son William Jordan Flake (who settled Snowflake, Arizona in 1878--from his name was the "Flake" part of the town's name derived, Erastus Snow's last name was the other half of the town's name). William had a son James Madison Flake (born 1859) who is my great grandfather.

What is the date on the Samuel Flake your husband is related to? We may be 4th or 5th cousins!

Sincerely,
Lorene Flake
