I too am researching the Flakes of Tippah CO., Mississippi. Needless to say I'm getting nowhere with this one..
This is my husbands side of the family, so I know nothing about them.
What time range are you talking about here? Do you know who their parents are?
I am looking for a William James Thomas Flake that married
Sarah Elizabeth Newman..I know his dad Sampson Flake And his mother was Elizabeth Williams... This is it. I haven't been able to find out how many brother and sisters..

I do have a copy of the 1900 census and I don't find any head of househole by that name. Their is Charley, he was 1 at that time.
