Deborah, I saw a posted record of the Thomas Flake m. to Susannah Dougherty. I am trying to find out if Flake was a misreading, typo, etc. My information of Thomas Flack m. Susan(nah) Dougherty comes from John Franklin Parkes. "...b. 5 mar 1769 NC... d. 16 jun 1857. ... (Data from loose sheets found in Rufus Burton Parks bible, which is in his possession) Married Susannah Dougherty on 15 Dec 1802 in Guilford Co., NC., b. 1776 NC, d. 2 Jun 1850. He gives emigrated to Davidson Co., TN in 1800 then to Lincoln Co., TN on Mulberry Creek in 1806 or 1807. Then give data about three of her Dougherty nephews. What he sent me for our children's book is NOT all confirmed. Also, another individual sent me some location records. A will of Robert Dougherty lists a sister, Susan Flack. Susan is the name another of Dad's cousin's gave to him on a pedigree chart. Perhaps you can help me. gay
