Wm., I read your reply re Sarah Flake and have some questions perhaps you can help clear up.First,I have tried for a long time to determine where Samuel came from. In your posting you state that he came from the Isle
of Wight, Eng. Could you please tell me where this info came from. Secondly, I know
that Samuel had two wives. On his tombstone, Which I have taken photos of, it shows AGATHA & SALLIE in that order. I think that Sallie refers to his wife Sarah Abagail Harris. Perhaps ALSE refers to his wife Agatha. I have a photo of land transaction that took place on 3/23/1799 he refers to his wife SARAH. However, I have a photo of his will dated 4/5/1802 and in this he refers to his wife ALEY.
gIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS AND PLEASE LET ME KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT the ISLE OF WIGHT,ENG. THANKS TWF
