Tried to answer you before, but got bumped. I beleive that is David's son John Edward. David had one son and four daughters--Lavinia, Theresa, Melissa ( my Great Grandmother) and Emma. I have found some papers with things about Lavinia mentioned and I know things about Melissa, but I have no idea what became of Theresa and Emma. John was in New York City after he married. I found the Social Security listing for a daughter of his named Anne Flandreau. Other than that I know little or nothing about my Grandmother's Aunts and Uncles.

The Flandreau children were all under 10 when their father died in the Civil War. In 1865, their mother, Emma Jane, married a man named Richard Vreeland and the family moved from New York City to Northern New Jersey. Richard and Emma Jane had 7 more children between the years 1866 and 1879. Most of these children lived their lives in NJ. The last one died in 1956 and is buried in Lodi, NJ, as is Richard and Emma.
