You do a very good job researching the Flandreau family. It is always something new to think about when you post your work. This is just a fact that came to mind when I read the information that you posted about the Elder James Flandreau. My Great, Great Grandparents, David and Emma Jane (Bertholf) Flandreau, had a daughter named Henrietta, too. She was their second daughter, born in September 1853, and had died by the time her father died in the Civil War.
