I see that you are on the trail for more Flandreau ancestors. Would like to go to the Flandreau places in the New York area, but I'm in CA. The few times that I do get to the East Coast to visit the family in NJ, there is never enough time to get over to NY. David Flandreau is buried in Philadelphia, PA, in a National Cemetery because he died in a Hospital there. He had been wounded in the Civil War. He was almost 2 months suffering the results of the wound. He was wounded in the elbow and the infection slowly took his life. His wife Emma Jane is buried in a cemetery in Lodi, NJ, with her second husband, Richard Vreeland. Since I haven't found the names of David's parents, I don't know where they are buried.

Thank you for all the research work that you've been doing. You don't know what a help you are. You've connected me with a cousin. His maternal Grandfather is my Grandmother's older brother. I have pictures his Grandparents and other relatives. Before you connected us, I had no way to share these with him and his branch of the family. I had lost all track of them. The ones that I did know about had died.
