hey peter, have not moved yet, and now all
my stuff is in storage until 2/10/01. found
a house in Danbury. Daniel Flandreau was in
the civil war, his father was Thomas Flandreau a surgeon in the civil war, Daniel
could not unlist until his father served his
stint, Daniel went on to become a 3rd sargent
his dad Thomas went on to become a family
doctor in the westchester, one of the only
remaining doctors to make house calls. his
obit is in the NY times microfim. Thomas's
brother, Charles Eugene Flandreau or Flandrau
actually, was a famous judge where Flandreau
south dakota was named for. the town did the research and corrected the spelling to Flandreau not Flandrau. Charles's daugher in law was the famous author Grace Flandreau
who wrote some of first books on the lewis and clark and studies of gorillas in the congo, she died in the 70's and left several
million to Harvard, and their is a science museum named after her in Arizona. i could go on and on, like i said we need to talk. after i move in i will copy all my paper files and either email or mail them to you,
i think the two of us can dot a lot of "i's" to you soon......merry xmas...............TED
