I am Chris Mosher, and I am researching
my direct pedigree. My mother's father
was Harry Flandreau Disosway. He did when
my mother was young and she know almost
nothing about him, and certainly none of
his ancestry. A few years ago I discovered
that his mother's maiden name was Flandreau
and that's where his middle name came from.
My mother and I were very intrigued. Since
then I have only traced back one more
generation to Elijah P. Flandreau in
Brooklyn. I am very interested in trying
to trace this Flandreau line back to
the original immigrant.
