His wife was Mary. Polly was a nickname for Mary. We're pretty sure that Lucy was their dtr. One of my cousins has tried to prove that our William was a Rev War soldier, but hasn't been able to conclusively prove it, although we've believed it to be true for some time.

I'll see if my cousin would like to chime in on this.
