In the "Georgia's Roster of the Revolution" page 317, Land Lottery Grants,I found the name "Polly Flanigan, Widow of Revolutionary Soldier." She is listed under "Jackson County Lottery List", "Revolutionary soldiers, and widows of Revolutionary soldiers, entitled to draw in the Land Lottery of 1825, in Jackson County." She is listed under Major Bowen's Battalion, Capt. McGinnis' Dist., No. 255. No mention is made of who her husband was.
