My great grandfather was also Vesey Flecknell. His Son, Hedley Flecknell was born of Lilly Fountain on 14 Feb 1900. He and his wife, Ellen Boylan, immigrated from England in 1927 to the province of New Brunswick, in Canada. They had 6 children: Vesey and Neil Flecknell, twins, and Judy Flecknell were born in England. James Matthew Flecknell, Hedley Flecknell (jr) and Anne Flecknell were born in New Brunswick. My father is Matthew.

Through other searches I have found two other names listed as sons of Vesey. They are Fred and Horace Flecknell. Have you heard of any of these?

When reading the threads...I too have heard that our name was decendent from Germany. Interesting.
