Hi all,
I'm having a heck of a time finding out any information on my great grandfather's father - a John (sometimes known as Jack) Fleet born in Oriville, California.
There may be someone named Ferdinand Matthewsninvolved as by 1930 both my great grandfather parents were deceased.
My great greatfather's birth certificate reads "signature of informant - "Mrs. F. Matthews - aunt". There is mention of a Ferdinand Matthews in my family tree but no one can figure out the connection.
My great grandfather was born in 1899 in Kamloops, BC. His parents, John Fleet (who I'm looking for info on) married a Mary Jane Guerin (and I've hit a dead-end on her information as well.)
Any information would be most appreciated.
