I've had my DNA tested at FamilyTreeDNA and Ancestry.com. I've come out a match with a Pollock/Polk/Pogue line. While my Fleet ancestors were from Nova Scotia, I found a Wiley Fleet in the household of Charles Polk, an uncle of President James K. Polk, on the 1850 census in Hardeman Tenn. I'm seeking Fleet descendants of the Hardeman County Fleets (circa 1850-1870) interested in getting their DNA tested, to see if there may be a tie there.
