On the 1870 Laclede Co. census, were the three Fleet children.
My GGgrandmother, Delia Ann Fleet,
her brother, Eli Allen Fleet,
her sister, Alice Fleet
- each of them living in a different household.
On Alice (Fleet) Griffin's death certificate
(info. was given to the doctor by her husband, John C. Griffin), it stated that her father was:
Abraham Fleet.
Mother's maiden name: unknown
(and nowhere did it state her first name, unfortunately)
On censuses, Alice stated:
Her father was born in TN, her mother was born in TN, and she was born in TN.

My aunt and I have found only one "Abraham Fleet" in TN.
Abraham, who was on 1850 Dickson Co., TN census (b. abt 1832)
living in household of father, William Fleet (who seems to be of the Hardeman Co., TN Fleet line
- which is also the line of Eric Fleet, who had the big Fleet site online(Carter Gibson Fleet, etc.)
(William Fleet "remarried" in 1838, to: Sarah Edwards)
Abraham Fleet married Dec. 1853 to Eliza (Elizabeth J.) Bone.
In Dickson Co. deed records, it shows that in 1859 Abraham Fleet mortgaged a mule.
(My aunt and I have been unable to find Abraham Fleet and his wife, past that point.)
We have not been able to find them on 1860 census.
``````
(The "Abraham Fleet" who was released in 1862 in Laclede Co., MO., is possibly the SAME Abraham Fleet.)
If anyone who is researching either the Fleet line or the Bone line knows what happened to Abraham Fleet/wife Eliza (Elizabeth J. Bone), please, let me know.
Thank you.
Something must have happened to the Fleet kids' parents,
seeing as the children were living in different households.
(and I could not find their parents on the 1870 Laclede Co., census.)
The children were approximately 10, 11, 12 years old.
(Or, maybe they put their children in a "safer" place?)
Alice: was living in the household of William Frank (and, I would have to look again, I think his wife's name was: Jane Reid).
William's sister was Margaret Frank.
(She married Issiah Day.
She then married Samuel Hull.
In a 1880 newspaper article, it shows that Margaret (Frank) Hull "attended the trial" of Thomas Randolph, son-in-law of Samuel Hull, who was on trial for murder of him.
(Supposedly, there was an argument over a cow.)
The man at the newspaper office stated that it showed that she attended this trial with Alice Fleet, "her niece".
Delia Ann Fleet: was living in household of Caswell Craddock (and wife, Lucy Pearcy)
Delia was my GGgrandmother.
Eli Allen Fleet: was living in household of Eli Rippy.
(Eli married: Mary Rippy)
Eli was my GGgrandfather.
Because: The son of Delia, Charley Arthur Hudson
[who we now know, was possibly the son of a McDaniel,
not, Biven Hudson - as were the rest of the children of Delia and Biven Hudson, because
when Delia (Fleet) McDaniel - name on marriage records shows, Delia McDaniel, married Biven Hudson,
Charley Arthur would have been: abt. 3 years old.]
married the daughter of Eli, Clarence Mildred Fleet.
Charley Arthur and Clarence Mildred were first cousins.
(They eloped, against the family's wish that they not get married.)
This occurred after Eli Allen Fleet had already gone to Hunt Co., TX.
(Charley Arthur and Clarence Mildred eloped,
after "taking a wagon" to: Ft. Worth, TX.
And, there were supposedly some Fleet (s) in Ft. Worth, of this Fleet line, as well.)
``````
Interestingly, I also found this Fleet in, Hunt Co., TX:
Carter Gibson Fleet (with his wife and children),
Carter Gibson Fleet being: of the line of Eric Fleet.
(Hardemen Co., TN Fleet (s)
```````
I have no doubt that their father, Abraham Fleet, was of this same Fleet line.
(and it seems to be the same Abraham Fleet,
who is seen on the 1850 census of Dickson Co., TN.
(b. abt. 1832)
His father: William Fleet...
(who "remarried" in 1838, to Sarah Edwards)(It seems that was not her maiden name. Poster stated: She was possibly married previously to: Alfred Edwards)
...and who it seems, William Fleet was of the Hardeman Co., TN Fleet (s)
One of them married: Mary EDWARDS
