I don't know who is the father of your Samuel, but I may have a clue for you.
Are you aware of one James Fleming, of Shade Gap, Huntington, PA, born 1759, w.d. 21 Mar 1822, w.p. 24 Dec 1825. It is my understanding that his first wife was Ann Morton, and I don't have real good documentation, but it seems their children were Elizabeth, Robert, and Anna, and then James married Rachel and they had Thomas (cal 1780) John 1785, and Samuel either 1783 or 1793, and died 1861, Samuel's wife Elizabeth. I have a transcription of the will of James, if you need it.
There were not very many Flemings in Huntington County at the time.
