Seeking evidence that Benjamin Fletcher and wife Mary McKenney moved from Faquier Co., VA to the Ohio Valley territory in about 1810 with Benjamin's daughter Celia and her new husband David Selix.Benjamin would be in his mid fifties in 1810.He could have lived near the Selix family, or if he had died, his widow Mary could have been in the Selix household in the Census records of 1810 or 1820.Property tax or other local records might list Benjamin's presence.Records show that Simon Selix, son of David Selix and Celia Fletcher, was born on 1 Jan 1818 in Muskingum Co., Ohio.Simon Selix married Diantha ?
on 4 Mar 1841 in Muskingum County, Ohio. David Selix had married Celia Fletcher, daughter of Benjamin Fletcher and Unknown wife on 30 Oct 1805 in Fauquier Co., Virginia. (Celia Fletcher was born between 1780-1790 and died between 1819-1821 in Muskingum Co., Ohio.)

Fii. Female Selix was born before 1815.
Miii. Simon Selix was born on 1 Jan 1818 in Muskingum Co., Ohio, died on 2 Sep 1893 in Franklin Co., Iowa and was buried in Harlan Cemetery, Dumont, Butler, Iowa.
Fiv. Female Selix was born between 1819-1821.
