I have run across records that show Michael Flickinger was married to Anna Mary Harbaugh of Maryland. I have a public tree on Ancestry.com with more information (Flickinger Family Tree). I know from RE Flickinger's book that Mary predeceased Michael, however the Harbaugh family records do not indicate this. I am looking to see if there are records of Mary living with another family, possibly Harbaughs, in Ohio before she died. I can't find her burial records. There is a possibility that she and Michael were separated or divorced and that she didn't predecease him. Divorce was not the norm then and could have been kept hidden. Does anyone have any information that might shed light on this?
