Dear Peter Flinders,

It is Ted Flunder calling. I received;and read your response to my post.

Peter, In regard to your question? That is...
with "surname changing". All I can say is
that over many of years... our surname has
changed/evolved in many different surnames.
And the different surnames are all variants of one name. eg. Flander/Flinder/Flunder

Peter, Much of variant name change is due to spelling of it; and oral speaking of it to others; and sometimes occupation etc...which has led to surname to change/evolve; and take on different meaning(s) than its orginal one.

Eg.Like any word in dictionary,there all different meanings for that one word . Our names are same way too!

Peter, I hope I've small, postive way
... been able to your question on surname change?

Sincerely, Ted Flunder;
Flunder family researcher
