I was born and raised in Coleman, Texas. My father was Arthur Flippen. His father was Charles Flippen. originally from Cumberlin, Va. There were three brothers. James, Charles and Arthur. Charles and James came the Texas back in the last 1800'S. Charles stayed and James went back to Va. Charles marries Estelle Wood and had 13 childres, my father Arthur being one. Charles had land in Albany, but had a drug store in Coleman, where the family lived. Don't know if this will help or not. Seem unsual that there are the same names. Ann Flippen Bailey
