Your very welcome. I have tracked the Flippen side from the original John, who came to the US circa 1700, to my family today, and am fairly comfortable with documentation I have found. All of it is not, however, complete. I have yet to find anything definitive on when and how the original John Flippen came to North America, though I know it was probably through Ireland from Scotland. If you have any good sources from this era, please let me know.
Thanks and good luck.
