Flippen Family Cumberland Va

In researching my home in Clinton Va,Cumebrland County.
I learned that itw as once jointly owned by Bachelor Arthur Fliippen and a Mr Winfree of Midlothian Va.
Arthur Flippen lived in my hosue until he was about 91 and was killed crossing hwy sixty to go to Moores store.

I would like to locate a photo of Arthur Flippen and his Brother Herman.
Arthur told the wpa researchers that the house was built by the Scott Family but he gave the wrong date ,
I believe the Hosue was built as an overseerers cottage fro one of the Scott Landholdings. The original plantation adjoined the Hobson Plantation .

Flippen and Winfree bought the place from the heirs of Samuel Garrett .

The Old Flippen homeplace was over on Miller Rd in the first sharp bend in the road,That house is now gone.
