Carthage, Tenn., April 7.--Funeral services for Luther Flippen, 65, banker, and for 20 years one of the leaders of the Democratic party in Smith county, were conducted today, with Judge John R. Aust of Nashville, a personal friend, as the chief memorial speaker.The Rev. Bunyan Smith, of the Baptist church, conducted the services.
