Could you please elaborate on your second paragraph? I have Phillip Flippen (Ralph's son) marrying Martha Cox, and their child was Willima Flippen, b. 10 Aug 1781. This marriage is documented in the U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900. Was Mary Rice a second wife?

I have no other information on Martha Cox, so anything additional would also be appreciated.
