Hello, I started tracing women and that is how I ended up with Flora/Naff. Jacob Naff Born abt.1727 Swiss/Ge boarder. Married Catherine(Katherine Eva) whose brother was Jacob Flora. They moved first to Frederick Co Maryland, where J.Flora got married and then to Franklin Co VA. "Jacob Flora Sr. Family of Franklin Co. VA" J.C. Flora 1951 at Roanoke,Va Library is a start, but has unconfirmed(by me)stories in it like Catherina's birth aboard ship. "The Brethren in VA" Roger Sappington is also full of Flora stories. Jacob Naff's father is also Jacob(l686)in Switz. I have only done back to immigation records not oversea. I will check my e-mail weekly but will not be near my computer. Can retired people vacation? HA! You know Isaac was a Brethren minister and most Floras and Naffs in Franklin Co. were Brethren that is why govt records are poor and they got into "hot water everytime there was a war. They were the first to declare "all slaves to be emancipated" on Henery Allen Flora farm in Franklin Co. 1797. I better close before I confuse you and myself with extra stories. Hope I helped. Carmen
