Hello, Saundra!

Sorry, I have not come across a Flora/Hively combination, but I can tell you that there was a Hively Pharmacy for years in Monticello (White County), Indiana.

Not knowing where you are physically located, I can suggest that you try the county historical society for Carroll County (Delphi), Whitley County (Columbia City), and Allen County (Ft. Wayne), and Central Noble (Churubusco) all in Indiana. You may even try Douglas County in eastern Kansas for the Baldwin City area.

Ft. Wayne has the largest genealogical library in Indiana. Noble, Central Noble and Allen counties are not that far apart. The reason I gave you Carroll County is because there are a large concentration of Floras and Florys that live here and there are Flora and Flory genealogies at the historical society as well as related family genealogies.

I am sure you can get the addresses you need by entering each county in the search box and clicking on the historical society section of each. In Carroll County, you would contact Mrs. Phyllis Moore, Carroll County Historical Society, Courthouse, Delphi, In 46923. As I noted earlier, many of the Floras and Florys moved back and forth between Whitley Co, IN and Douglas Co., Kansas.

Let me know if I can help you further. I would be glad to do physical checking in Delphi if your research leads you there.

Still searching for David KIMMEL Flora!

Barb
