Hi Karen.
I do not have much to give you as Morris is not part of my direct line.
Most of what I have on him is from a compilation of the Census pages I have been able to find.
As a direct ancestor of him I would assume that your info is correct however unless you have documentation to prove otherwise I believe you have erred in ascribing the Nicholas County Sanford Flora as a son of Morris.
I looked for this guy and as you have stated he was born abt. 1830. Just can't be a son of Morris because that would make Morris only age 11 when Sanford was born.

I don't have the proof but I am convinced that Morris's son Sanford was actually Joseph Sanford Flora.
He was born abt 1849 in Virginia, not Kentucky and married a woman named Valay?, census page is not clear. Theses two persons were living in Morgan County, West Virginia in 1870 and had a daughter named Effa A. Flora. My quick check of later census records did not uncover any more info on them.
As I assume you know, Morris and family lived in Morgan County W.Va. In the 1840 Census there is only one Flora in that county and his name was Archibald. I believe that this was the father of Morris and probably at least one other son.
