Genz family - East coast
Posted by: John Genz (ID *****5932) Date: June 15, 2006 at 09:54:18
  of 26

I have been researching my
branch of the Genz family and have about 210 entries. If you check the
index under John L. Genz you will find my Tree or go to
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/g/e/n/John-L-Genz/. My family
came over in 1877 into NY and later moved to Elizabeth, NJ This move
involved my GG-Father, Eduard H. Genz, and his family. He had been the
Interim-Bergermister in Wallerfangen, Gr. which is a small town next to Saar Louie
in the Aslance-Lourine.

If anyone has any information on this family please advise. I know a branch moved to Washington DC and others to Georgia where Henry Genz was a professor at Georgia Tech. Others from that branch have removed to Flordia.
