Albright Florea was definitely not the son of Hanliey Flory, who came over here with father Joseph in 1733. According to the ship lists, Hanliey was female, not male. Any children she may have had would not have had the Flory name. No one is sure of what portion of Europe Joseph Flory was born in, but indications seem to point to either Germany or Switzerland. Any ultimate French derivation is highly speculative at this point.
