Florida family of Murfreesboro, TN, Bernie, MO and Flint MI

Hello, I am curious about the origin of this family (I myself was born in Flint). Does anyone out there know the answers to these questions:

a. How did two different Florida families come to Flint, one from TN and one from MO. It seems they were earlier related in TN. Is that true?

b. Does anyone know where the family came from before TN?

c. The oldest Florida I found on this web site is Patrick Byrd Florida, from 1792. Is this the oldest Florida anyone knows, or are there some older.

d. I heard that there is an Irish coat of arms for the name Florida. Is that true? If so, did such a family immigrate to the US?

Floridas unite! Let's find out the answers to these questions.

Sincerely,

William Florida
Basel, Switzerland
