Doris R. DAVIES, 85, 740 Pleasant Ridge Road, Carrollton, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2003.

Mrs. Davies was born February 4, 1918, in Key West, FL, to Rexford Roberts and Hilda SAWYER Roberts. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Cathy and Mike KIMBALL of Carrollton, Pat and Julian SPENCE of Sparta; grandchildren, Blake JORDAN of Carrollton and Alan SMITH of Sandersville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Davies, and sons Richard and Leslie Davies.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 25, at the Almon Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James A. Callahan officiating. Music was provided by Amanda McNutt. Pallbearers were Jerry Hudgins, Bobby McNabb, Alan Smith, F.W. Smith, Jerry Wells and Fred Wilkins. Interment was in Carroll Memory Gardens.
